Shiatsu Therapist
Dionne received her 2200-hour training in shiatsu therapy from the Shiatsu School of Canada in Toronto. She also has a degree in Ancient Near Eastern Studies from the University of Saskatchewan. Dionne has been practicing shiatsu since 2001 and has successfully treated many people with digestive disorders, hormonal imbalances, muscle pain and stiffness, and headaches/migraines.
Dionne has a background in dance and physical fitness. She began training in ballet at age 6 and has been a performing company member with Ballet Creole, Arabesque Dance Company, and Caribbean Folk Performers (all in Toronto). Her favourite forms of dance are Middle Eastern and Afro-Caribbean. Dionne was also an aerobics instructor, fitness trainer, and gym manager for several years. She even competed in the 1992 Saskatchewan Amateur Bodybuilding Competition.
Dionne also loves to travel. She has lived in and traveled to various countries in Asia and the Middle East/Persian Gulf.
